Fulham vs Arsenal : The Brief

After a September to remember, we’ve made a pretty decent start to October after returning from the 4,000km round trip to Azerbaijan with three points, a clean sheet and three more goals in the bag.

Meanwhile, Unai Emery has been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award, while Alex Lacazette is up for Player of the Month and Goal of the Month for his strike against Everton. All in all things are looking good as we head into our third London derby of the campaign.
Our 51.3 per cent win rate in games against our capital rivals is the strongest in the top-flight, and having built up a head of steam after eight victories on the bounce in all competitions, we can look towards Sunday’s trip to Craven Cottage with real confidence.

Emery is refusing to use the long journey back from Baku as an excuse for a poor performance against Fulham, and has called on a squad likely to be bolstered by the returns of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey, to keep working, keep building, keep progressing.
