Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is not interested in selling the club, as per reports.
Abramovich’s reluctance to sell the west London club comes after renewed newspaper speculation this week linking Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe with a takeover.
Ratcliffe refused to rule out the possibility of taking over the Premier League side earlier this week, saying “you never say no” when a
sked about his interest in the Blues.
Abramovich, who bought Chelsea in 2003, has not spoken with Ratcliffe or any other potential buyers, and has no desire to do so.
Club director Marina Granovskaia currently oversees Chelsea’s day-to-day football operations on Abramovich’s behalf.
